Have you smelt wild garlic? Do you know its Latin name? Do you know the more common name for ‘Devil’s Leaf’? Could you spot flowering Borage? And did you know it has been historically used to lessen a hangover?

Did you know Rosehips are a good natural source of Vitamin C? And Rowan berries were traditionally soaked and fermented by the Welsh to make a strong liquor? Could you identify a Sloe for use in making Sloe Gin?

Note, we strongly advise against eating anything you are not 100% sure about, it is our sole focus on these walks to purely help with various common plant identifications, hopefully learning some Latin names along the way and have group discussion on the various plant's historical usage.
